Wooden Cooling Towers
MVT’s Wooden cooling towers are suitable for high heat load applications & where contamination of water is high. These cooling towers are manufactured with pressurized chemically treated linear grained pine wood fastened with stainless steel fasteners to provide the structure a durability against rust. The designing of these units depends upon the heat load, water flow rate & the availability of space, resulting a structure ranges from single cell to multi cell function with a power saver FRP axial fan set.
These towers are available on both vertically discharge cross- flow & vertically discharge counter flow principles depending upon the customers requirement & selection.
Available In Induced Draft Cross Flow and Counter Flow Design Cooling Towers :
These models are available under single cell as well as multi cell configuration. Multi-cell configurations are provided to offer flexibility of operations and also to meet increased cooling requirements. These Cooling Towers are supplied with straight grained treated pine wood construction, which is pressure treated with Copper Chromate Arsenic. Structural design for operational load and wind pressure of 30 psf. is taken into consideration.
CCA (copper chromate arsenic) treated timber / wood Cooling Towers have proven themselves the worldover. These timber / wood Cooling Towers are available in induced draft cross flow & induced draft counter flow design. Water handling capacity ranges from 45 M3/hr. to 5000 M3/hr. per cell capacity. Fan diameter varies from 1500 mm to 10000 mm. Different models have different Air Travels, Fill height, Fill pattern, Fan diameter, etc. in cross flow design and varied Fill height, Fill design, etc. in counter flow design. Fan deck for all the above said models is made up of specially ordered BWR grade ply wood.
